Section 2 of The Health and Safety at Work Act 1975 and The Electricity at Work Regulations (EAWR) 1989, Page 10 Regulation’s 3 &4 of HS®25 requires employers and owners of public buildings to maintain by a regular programme of recorded inspection and testing by a competent person so far as is reasonably practical, portable electrical appliances safe and without risk to health from electrical shock or fire.
